2024 Former Basileus
As I reflect on my tenure as Basileus of the Sigma Rho Chapter, I am filled with pride for the work we've accomplished together as brothers. Over the past year, our chapter has deepened its commitment to the Ann Arbor community, with a successful mentoring program for local high school students and hosting two major blood drives in partnership with the Red Cross. We upheld our legacy of scholarship by awarding over $6,000 in scholarships to deserving students through our work with SMOFI, while continuing to serve as role models for academic excellence.
Through our health initiatives and programs we collaborated to offer free health screenings and awareness workshops to underserved populations. Internally, our chapter strengthened its bond of brotherhood with a series of fellowship events and team-building activities that have fostered deeper connections and collaboration among members. We also initiated 2 new brothers, ensuring the growth and longevity of our chapter.
Our financial health remains robust, thanks to strategic fundraising efforts and careful financial stewardship, positioning Sigma Rho for continued success in the years to come. I leave this role with confidence in the direction of the chapter and immense gratitude for the support and dedication of my brothers. Together, we have upheld the cardinal principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift.
